Add to Your Faith: Part 1 of 2

Preview: Faith is the unconditional belief we have in the Lord, even when we cannot physically see Him. We must maintain our faith at all times and use it to build our relationship with the Lord. This is the first part of a two-part lesson on this subject.


Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:1-15.

Memory Verse: Colossians 3:12.

1. Why is it important to have faith? Hebrews 11:1, Hebrews 11:6.
2. What two things are we to add to our faith? II Peter 1:5.
3. Unto what has the Lord called us? II Peter 1:3.
4. How does James put forth the same call? James 4:8.
5. What were the instructions in Isaiah? Were they similar? Isaiah 1:16.

Note: Virtue is defined as moral excellence and chastity which, in more common words, means purity. If our hearts are pure, everything about us will be pure.
7. Why is it important to add knowledge? Hosea 4:6.
8. From what source do we get knowledge? Ephesians 3:19.
